About Me

Welcome!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Alex and I'm 28 years old. I was born and raised in the great state of Arizona. I graduated high school in 2005 and shortly after received my degree in Health and Kinesiology. After college, I found myself working in the incredible field of Ophthalmology and decided to take the board certification exam which I passed with flying colors. In 2010 I married my high school sweetheart and best friend. Right after our wedding the Army had us report to our first duty station at Fort Hood in Texas. After a few years of service he decided to get out and we are now back in Arizona!

It has been great being back in our home state especially since my husband and I are expecting our first baby! Now, as a first-time mom-to-be there are many questions I've had whether it is: "is this normal to feel this...", "Is my baby ok to use this...", "what are the best products to use...", etc. With that being said, I've decided to start a blog as I went through my last few weeks of pregnancy and starting the new journey of becoming a mom. I post what I found that's helped me, and give advice to new moms-to-be whether its their first or fourth baby. Every pregnancy is different!
